Which column applies to you?
The table shows our current rates, and each currency has two of them. “We buy” is what we pay for one unit of the currency: check it when you bring foreign cash and want złoty. For a 100 EUR note you get 100 times our euro buying rate. “We sell” applies when you buy currency with złoty. The calculator works out the exact amount either way. We earn on the difference between the two rates, the spread, and add no commission. The date and time of the last rate change are shown above the table.

How to exchange money at Kantor X
You exchange cash for cash at the counter. You do not need an account.
- Check the rate in the table or work out the amount in the calculator. Commission is 0 PLN.
- If you do not want the rate to change before you arrive, reserve it on the website during opening hours. The rate then holds for up to 60 minutes from submission, but no later than closing time. Reservations are not available on public holidays. A reservation does not guarantee cash availability: if we are short of the amount you need, we will call you.
- Come to the counter on the ground floor of Fabryka Norblina and quote the online rate. We settle in cash only, in złoty or in foreign currency.
- For a transaction worth EUR 15,000 or more, bring photo ID. The cashier may also ask for ID for a smaller amount if anti-money-laundering law requires it.

How to compare exchange rates in Warsaw
Whether you compare exchange offices with each other or with a bank, check the same things everywhere.
- Compare both rates, buying and selling. The gap between them is the spread: the narrower it is, the cheaper the exchange.
- Ask whether the office charges a commission. Ours is 0 PLN for any amount and currency.
- Check when the rate last changed. We enter our rates by hand, and the date and time of the latest change are shown above the table.
- Ask whether the website rate applies at the counter. Here it does: just quote the online rate. During opening hours you can also reserve a rate before you leave home, for up to 60 minutes.
- Check the office’s entry in the NBP register of currency exchange activity. A kantor cannot operate without one, and the register is public. Our entry number is 20550.
The NBP mid-rate and the rate a search engine shows are for reference only. At an exchange office you buy currency at the selling rate and sell it at the buying rate. The NBP mid-rate is used to convert the EUR 15,000 threshold at which ID becomes mandatory.
Legal information
Any transaction equivalent to EUR 15,000 or more (at the NBP mid-rate for the given day) is an above-threshold transaction. The exchange office is then required to establish the client's identity from a photo ID — a national ID card, passport or residence card. An identity document may also be required in other cases provided for by anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing law, including for lower amounts.

How to get to our exchange office in Fabryka Norblina
Fabryka Norblina, ground floor (level 0): next to the Super-Pharm pharmacy, by the escalators.

- The office is equally close to two stations on metro line M2: Rondo Daszyńskiego and Rondo ONZ.
- By car
- There is a large underground car park under the complex — spaces are usually available even at the weekend. Paid street parking is available too.
- Opening hours on Sundays and public holidays
- We are open on Sundays from 11:00 to 20:00, including non-trading Sundays. We are closed on 1 November, 24–26 December, 1 and 6 January, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. On 11 November, 1 and 3 May, Pentecost Sunday, Corpus Christi and 15 August we keep our usual hours.

What will I pay for 100 euro?
Our current euro selling rate multiplied by 100, with no commission or extra fees. The rate is in the table, the time of its last change is shown above the table, and the calculator works out the exact amount. If you are selling a 100 euro note, you get 100 times our euro buying rate. Common amounts from 50 to 1,000 EUR, converted both ways, are on the euro rate page. Rates move during the day, so during opening hours you can reserve the rate before you leave, for up to 60 minutes.
Do the rates on the site apply at the counter?
Yes. Please quote the online price at the counter. Rate reservations are available only during opening hours, excluding public holidays. The rate is valid for up to 60 minutes from submission, but no later than closing time. A reservation does not guarantee cash availability. If the amount you need is unavailable, we will call you.
Can I pay by card at the exchange office?
No. We exchange cash only: you buy currency with złoty in cash, and when you sell, you bring banknotes in the foreign currency. You cannot pay by card, BLIK or bank transfer.
Is the exchange office open on Sundays and public holidays?
On Sundays, yes, from 11:00 to 20:00, including non-trading Sundays. Monday to Saturday we are open from 10:00 to 20:00. We are closed on 1 November, 24–26 December, 1 and 6 January, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. On the other public holidays (11 November, 1 and 3 May, Pentecost Sunday, Corpus Christi and 15 August) we keep our usual hours, but online rate reservations are not available on those days.
How much can I exchange without ID?
Any amount below the equivalent of EUR 15,000 at the NBP mid-rate for the day. From that threshold the office must record your details from a photo ID: a national ID card, passport or residence card. Which currencies do you exchange?
Fourteen: euro, US dollar, British pound, Swiss franc, Australian and Canadian dollars, Hungarian forint, Czech koruna, Norwegian krone, Swedish krona, Danish krone, Ukrainian hryvnia, Japanese yen and Chinese yuan. We buy and sell all of them. “Out of stock” in the table means we have temporarily run out of that currency for sale; we still buy it as usual. Call before your visit to check that the amount you need is available.
Do you exchange coins?
No. We accept banknotes only and do not exchange coins in any currency, including euro coins.
Do you accept old or damaged banknotes?
No. We do not accept old or damaged banknotes, or US dollar notes from series before 1996. Our US dollar rates apply to $100 bills only. We accept low-denomination banknotes, but the table rates do not apply to them, so call before your visit to check the terms.

How does the exchange office make money without a commission?
